Job summary

Therapy 2000 in Texas is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist/COTA to join our mission-driven home-based pediatric therapy team. You will evaluate children, design and implement therapy plans, and coordinate care with families and physicians to help kids grow and thrive.

The role requires a current Texas OT license, 3+ years in pediatric OT, experience in home-health, and willingness to travel between patient visits.

Qualifications

• Current/active Texas OT license.
• 3+ years pediatric OT.
• Experience in home-health setting.
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or related specialties.
• Willingness to travel between patient visits.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients' needs for therapy.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients' caregivers.
• Collaborate and coordinate care between various providers and disciplines.
• Meet deadlines for patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and paperwork.
• Adhere to agency policies and relevant laws applicable to home-health pediatric OT.
