Job summary

CoLlab Pediatric Therapies in Austin, TX is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join a growing, multi-disciplinary team serving children on the autism spectrum and their families. The OT will direct, supervise, and provide therapy in outpatient clinics and in home/community settings as prescribed by the referring physician.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• Current Texas state license to practice Occupational Therapy.
• CPR / First Aid certification.
• Experience with autism spectrum disorders is a plus.
• Experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary team is a plus.
• Feeding therapy experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in outpatient or home/community settings as prescribed.
• Assess, re-evaluate, and document goals and progress.
• Write evaluations, progress and discharge reports in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and communicate with parents and staff.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants as applicable.
