Job summary
The Nemours Foundation in Jacksonville seeks a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Orthopedic team. This full-time position provides clinic-based care to pediatric patients and covers various duties, including patient assessments and surgical assistance.

Qualifications
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants or certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Florida licensure as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse required upon hire.
- BLS required upon hire.
- Prior healthcare/patient care experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to pediatric patients guided by education and clinical expertise.
- Elicit comprehensive or focused health history from patients.
- Perform complete physical examinations as required.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests within scope.
- Plan interventions including medications and treatments.
