Job summary

Shriner's Children’s in California seeks a pediatric orthopedic surgeon to join our multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive care for children with limb deformities, scoliosis, fractures, and other musculoskeletal disorders.

Responsibilities include both surgical and non-surgical management, inpatient and outpatient care, and collaborative care with pediatric specialists. Board eligibility and state licensure are required or pending, with opportunities for education and research.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for pediatric orthopedic conditions.
• Provide surgical and non-surgical management based on current standards of care.
• Participate in inpatient/outpatient care, pre/postoperative management, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, physiatrists, anesthesiologists, and subspecialists.
• Maintain documentation in the electronic health record in compliance with regulations.
