Gillette Children’s in St. Paul, MN seeks a Casting Technician to provide casting services in the operating room and related settings. The role requires travel between Burnsville and St.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required (BLS for Healthcare Providers) or within 90 days of hire.
• Strong interpersonal communication with patients, families and providers.
• Interest in working with children with disabilities and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide casting and splinting in operating room settings.
• Evaluate prescriptions and communicate with providers.
• Apply all types of casts under supervision as required.
• Maintain safe patient handling and proper body mechanics.
