Job summary

Lurie Children's in Chicago is looking for an Orthopedic Cast Tech PRN to assist in orthopaedic procedures, including casting and splinting, and to maintain inventory of supplies.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, Basic Life Support certification, and experience in a hospital environment, providing essential support to the surgical team.

Flexible hours are available, with a competitive pay range of $21.00-$32.55 hourly.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in a hospital splint or cast room.
• Ability to articulate anatomical structures and orthopaedic conditions.
• Experience in ordering and maintaining medical supplies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the application and removal of orthopaedic casts and splints.
• Maintain inventory of orthopaedic supplies and equipment.
• Support the clinical director with product evaluations.

Skills
