Lone Peak Dental Group in Henderson is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to support our pediatric team. You will prepare rooms, assist during procedures, and take X-rays, while keeping patient records organized and scheduling follow-ups.

The role emphasizes a fun, kid-friendly environment and teamwork to deliver high-quality care. Applicants should have X-ray and CPR certification, and a preference for at least 1 year in orthodontics or completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program.

Qualifications

• X-ray and CPR certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an ortho practice is preferred.
• Completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program preferred.
• Additional certification or training is a plus.
• Experience with Denticon software or iTero scanners is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures.
• Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with patient scheduling.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining a kid-friendly environment.
