The role requires X-ray and CPR certification, with preferred 1 year of orthodontic experience and an accredited orthodontic assistant program. Denticon or iTero experience is a plus, with a daytime schedule and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• X-ray and CPR certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an ortho practice is preferred.
• Completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program preferred.
• Additional certification or training is a plus.
• Experience with Denticon software or iTero scanners is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures.
• Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with patient scheduling.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining a kid-friendly environment.
