Job summary

Valley Children’s Healthcare is seeking an OR Technician to support the Perioperative Department in the Central Valley. You will assist with patient care before, during, and after procedures, under direction of physicians and registered nurses.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, completion of OR technician training (or 3 years of OR tech experience), and a BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Day shifts and 34.5–hour weeks are provided.

Qualifications

• Medical terminology preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients and families under physician/ RN supervision.
• Set up for procedures and maintain safety and quality in the OR.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and OR staff to deliver efficient patient care.
