MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to support the pediatric operating room. The role includes assisting with patient care, instrument set-up, and instrument handling under the guidance of an OR RN.

Requirements include CST program graduate or equivalent, WA CST registration, CPR, and pediatric OR experience; 0.6 FTE with day shifts (12-hour days) and a focus on high-quality, family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience.
• National certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Active Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration required prior to start date.
• Health Care Provider level CPR certification.
• Previous experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with care and preparation of the surgical patient and OR under the supervision of an OR RN.
• Assemble, set-up and use surgical instrumentation and equipment during procedures.
• Handle routine cases with potential for emergent/critical situations requiring decision-making.
