Job summary

Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando is seeking a Pediatric OR Registered Nurse (RN) with a weekend option to support the APH Surgery Department.

You will provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for pediatric patients, collaborate with anesthesia and the surgical team, monitor patients and equipment, and participate in coverage for STAT NOW and urgent cases around the clock.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for patients with complex assessment and therapies.
• Monitors and interprets patient condition and medical equipment.
• Communicates and collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Documents patient care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and compliant manner.
