Job summary
ARNOLD PALMER HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN, part of the Orlando Health system, is seeking a Pediatric OR Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized perioperative nursing care for pediatric patients in the OR. The role requires an RN license and the ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 surgical environment.
The position emphasizes high-level nursing skills, collaborative team-based care, and adherence to surgical and anesthesia protocols to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies.
- Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment and interprets monitoring data.
- Coordinates care and delegates tasks to team members.
- Documents patient care in a compliant and timely manner.
- Maintains professional behavior and collaborates with medical staff and leadership.
