TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Memphis, Tennessee. This Pediatric OR travel position requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and BLS, with 40-hour weeks, 8-hour day shifts, and a 13-week assignment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Pediatric OR experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with positioning and transferring pediatric patients in the OR.
• Care for patient in the OR according to hospital policy.
• Ensure all pre-procedural paperwork is complete.
• Monitor for signs of impaired gas exchange related to anesthesia.
• Stay with the patient until anesthesia induction is complete.
