Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Downtown Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Main Pediatric Operating Room. The RN will circulate and assist with intraoperative care, coordinate with physicians and OR staff, and ensure patient safety from check-in to PACU transfer.

Requirements include ASN, BSN preferred, 1–2 years OR Circulating experience or AORN Preoperative 101, BLS required, and ACLS/CCRN preferred.

Formación

• Associates of Science in Nursing required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• 1-2 years OR Circulating experience or completion of an AORN Preoperative 101 Program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) required
• ACLS preferred
• Conscious Sedation Certification preferred
• Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred
• This RN role requires call, weekend, and holiday coverage

Responsabilidades

• Providing for patient needs as recognized through nursing process and mission statement of the organization
• Supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services
• Including patients and families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Education of patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
• Coordination and preparation of assigned room and case, assessment of patient care needs
• This role requires call, weekend, and holiday coverage
• 1-2 years OR Circulating experience or completion of AORN Preoperative 101 Program
