Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Pediatric Operating Room team at Wolfson Children's Hospital in Downtown Jacksonville, FL. This full-time, day-shift role includes weekend work, call responsibilities with 30-minute response time, and differential pay opportunities.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, supervising support staff, engaging families in care plans, and ensuring room readiness and patient safety.

Qualifikationen

• RN license required and active in the state of Florida.
• Two years of hospital operating room experience preferred.
• Cardiac care and telemetry experience are advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Meet patient needs per nursing process and organizational mission.
• Supervise support staff and coordinate ancillary services.
• Involve patients and families in individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families about disease and care plan.
• Prepare and coordinate room/case needs and anticipate care needs.
• Be available for on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• 1–2 years of circulator nurse experience or completion of AORN 101 preoperative program.
