Job summary

BSWH McLane Children's Medical Center in Temple, TX is seeking an experienced OR Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN coverage in the Pediatric Operating Room. You will provide perioperative care for pediatric patients within a dedicated surgical team.

Ideal candidates have an accredited nursing degree and RN license, with prior OR experience. This PRN role offers flexibility with Monday–Friday coverage as needed and potential paths to full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous Operating Room experience required.

Responsibilities

• Clinical judgment and nursing care planning.
• Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
• Create a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and families.
