Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Must have American Heart Association (AHA) certification.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• The OR RN provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room, performing assessments and interventions to maintain patient safety during surgery.
• Assists the physician in implementing the plan of care and ensures continuity between the patient care unit and the OR.
