Job summary

Seattle Children’s Hospital is accepting applications for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room on a 0.6 FTE night shift with an 8:30pm start and two 12-hour shifts.

The role involves safe, family-centered pediatric perioperative care, collaboration with the health care team, and adherence to hospital policies and evidence-based standards. Relocation assistance is offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Washington State RN license.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers is required at time of hire.
• Nurses in specified units must obtain PALS within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, family-centered patient care.
• Use the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Nurse Technicians and CNAs as needed.
• Adhere to state regulations, ANA standards, CPI and patient safety initiatives.
