Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for OR for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

This PRN opportunity allows nurses to apply for their passion in nursing and be in the OR. Candidates with OR experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Weekly pay with direct deposit, flexible PRN scheduling, and comprehensive medical/dental/vision insurance are offered to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Must have American Heart Association.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room and performs assessments and interventions to keep patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in achieving the plan of care and ensures continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
