Job summary

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Operating Room on the Philadelphia Campus. The role requires at least one year of RN experience, Perioperative (Periop 101) certification, and OR circulating experience; pediatric or specialty experience is preferred.

The position features rotating shifts and a focus on family-centered care. The CHOP Nursing Practice Model guides professional practice, with emphasis on safety, ethics, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year RN experience.
• Completion of Periop 101 program required.
• At least 1 year OR Circulating experience required.
• Preferred: 1 year OR Scrub experience.
• Preferred: Pediatrics or area of specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, and culturally effective care following the nursing process.
• Document evaluation of nursing interventions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Develop and revise patient care plans with the care team.
• Follow evidence-based nursing practice bundles and standards.
