Position Summary

The Department of Ophthalmology, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, invites applications for an Open Rank Pediatric Surgical Ophthalmologist position. Responsibilities include outpatient care, surgical duties, an interest in clinical and/or bench research, and resident and medical student teaching and supervision. The position serves patients at UNC Kittner Eye Center, 2226 Nelson Hwy, Ste. 200, Chapel Hill, NC, and at various other clinical sites owned by UNC Eye.

Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience. The Department will consider variable hours (full-time or part-time) from 0.5 FTE to 1.0 FTE.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

MD or DO required.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

Prior experience in an academic medical setting.
