Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive ophthalmic testing and record results.
  • Take thorough medical histories and document chief complaints.
  • Assist with patient preparation and room setup for exams.
  • Triages patient calls and manages prescription requests with physician approval.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and ensure a safe clinic environment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of ocular pharmacology and post-test patient care.
  • Assist with contact lens fitting and patient education on care.
