Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Delivers nursing care using the nursing process and engages patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ensures accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols; may float to other units as needed.
• Communicates effectively, supports team collaboration and delegation.
• Pursues professional development and maintains required certifications.
• Adheres to ANA ethics and provides unbiased patient care.
