Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a highly qualified registered nurse for the Pediatric Oncology & Bone Marrow Transplant Unit in Tucson, AZ. This full-time night shift role involves caring for pediatric and young adult patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders, administering chemotherapy, and providing pre- and post-care for cellular therapies including CAR-T infusions.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in the clinical area for which you are applying is desired.
• Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage medical care for patients in treatment.
• Administer chemotherapy and related therapies.
• Provide pre- and post-care for hematopoietic cellular therapies, including CAR-T cell infusions.
• Perform bone marrow transplants.
• Document nursing assessments, plans and evaluations in patient records.
