Job summary

Inova Health is seeking a Manager of Oncology Navigation and Counseling - Pediatrics to lead a pediatric psychosocial behavioral health team across inpatient, outpatient, and counseling centers. The role focuses on clinical oncology expertise, multidisciplinary collaboration, and program development within the Life with Cancer service line.

The position requires a strong therapy background, supervision experience, and the ability to align care standards with system-wide improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related fields required.
• Experience: five years of progressive nursing/social work and/or supervisory experience with oncology patients.
• Certification in area of specialty within specified timeframe, if required.
• Licensure: LPC, LCSW or RN license in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Lead pediatric oncology navigation and counseling programs and team members.
• Collaborate with Oncology Services to promote healthcare programs and prepare materials.
• Provide holistic therapeutic care to families and patients.
• Oversee documentation and ensure high-quality patient care and research involvement.
• Develop annual budgets for operating units and monitor financial performance.
• Monitor patient satisfaction and the impact of education and counseling.
