Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ seeks a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to support the Pediatric Oncology program. You will develop oncology care plans with the Pediatric Oncology Care Team and ensure optimal, safe drug therapy for children.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Pharmacy required and completion of a PGY1 residency.
• Board certification preferred and Arizona licensure required.
• Experience in pediatric oncology or investigational drug services highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Critically evaluates and optimizes pediatric oncology pharmacotherapy.
• Provides drug information and education to the care team and patients.
• Reviews medication orders for accuracy and safety in pediatric patients.
• Contributes to quality improvement and drug-use evaluations.
