Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Sandusky, OH is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the Therapy Services team. This contingent, part-time role focuses on outpatient pediatric therapy, with potential inpatient support as staffing allows, under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

The position requires an Associate’s Degree in OTA, NBCOT, CPR, and strong communication and observation skills.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s Degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• NBCOT exam completed to use the COTA title.
• Current CPR certification.
• Two years of recent relevant experience preferred; pediatric experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed OT.
• Assist patients with rehabilitative activities to improve daily living and functional abilities.
• Document patient progress and report to the supervising OT.
• Deliver care in outpatient and inpatient settings as needed.
• Support department operations and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Maintain infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.
• Participate in required training including equipment use and safety.
