Job summary

Amenity Health Services in West-Houston, TX is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to assist in implementing OT services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.

You will plan activities, document treatments and patient responses, follow state supervision guidelines, and track visits in accordance with insurance and the plan of care. This is a full-time position with benefits such as health, vision, dental, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• OT Assistant state license (license required).
• Experience with pediatrics preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plans activities and provides therapeutic services for occupational therapy.
• Records type of treatment and patient reactions in notes; updated weekly.
• Follow guidelines for supervision as outlined by the State Board for Occupational Therapy.
• Track and follow authorized visits according to insurance and plan of care.
