About the role

We are actively recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our therapy team in Waldorf, MD. What you'll do

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for children with developmental, sensory, and functional challenges.
• Deliver occupational therapy services as outlined in treatment plans, documenting all sessions, progress notes, and reports in a timely manner.
• Educate and coach families/caregivers on strategies and activities to support skill development and carryover at home.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including sensory integration, fine motor skill development, self-care training, and adaptive equipment use.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in goal setting, progress reviews, and discharge planning.
• Maintain therapy equipment, ensure compliance with HIPAA, and stay current with best practices through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland Occupational Therapist license.
• CPR/BLS (infant/child) certification or ability to obtain.
• Clear criminal background check.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, adapt to change, and manage priorities.

The pay range for this role is:

$35-$50 per hour USD per hour
