Qualifications

• Maryland Physical Therapist license is required.
• CPR/BLS (infant/child) certification or ability to obtain.
• Clear criminal background check required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement treatment for pediatric patients.
• Deliver therapy services and document progress in charts.
• Educate families on home exercise programs and carryover strategies.
• Administer manual techniques, equipment training, and assistive devices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in discharge planning.

About the role

We are actively recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our therapy team in California, MD. This is a full-time opportunity ideal for professionals who excel at working with children and families, communicate effectively, and are passionate about helping young clients reach their developmental milestones. The role involves evaluating and treating children from birth through adolescence in a clinic setting, creating engaging and individualized treatment plans, and partnering with families and caregivers to support carryover of skills at home.

What you'll do

• Evaluate, plan, and implement treatment for patients with physical delays and conditions.
• Deliver therapy services as outlined in treatment plans, documenting all sessions and progress reports in a timely manner.
• Educate and guide families/caregivers in home exercise programs and strategies.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual exercises, assistive devices training, and use of therapeutic equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in discharge planning.
• Maintain equipment, comply with HIPAA, and stay current with best practices through professional development.

The pay range for this role is:

$38-$47 USD per hour with the potential to reach $50+/hour for highly experienced clinicians
