Job summary

FamilyForward’s Developmental Trauma Center seeks an occupational therapist to join an interdisciplinary therapy team serving children and families in Missouri. The OT will assess and intervene with pediatric clients, focusing on occupational participation, sensory regulation, and development within a trauma-informed model.

Travel to multiple agency sites is required. You will collaborate with psychologists and licensed social workers, complete documentation for payers, and participate in

Qualifications

• You have a current Missouri Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for Missouri licensure, in good standing.
• You’ve graduated from an AOTA/ACOTE certified OT program as required by state law.
• You have experience and comfort independently planning pediatric OT assessments and interventions.
• You have experience with sensory and emotional regulation strategies during dysregulation.
• You have documentation and billing proficiency.
• You must have reliable transportation to travel between agency locations.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat pediatric and adolescent clients within a trauma-informed framework.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including psychologists and social workers.
• Document services for third party payers and clinical records.
• Travel between agency sites as needed to meet program and client needs.
• Educate and mentor OT students and staff; participate in program development.
