Job summary

SunnyDays Therapy Inc. in Monticello, MN, seeks a temporary Occupational Therapist to cover a leave of absence from August 2026 through January 2027.

The role focuses on pediatric therapy, helping children develop functional independence through play, with a schedule Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM. The position offers an hourly rate of $32.00–$36.00 with a benefits package including health, vision, disability, retirement, holidays, and continuing education support.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and MN OT license (or in process).
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) and ability to work autonomously or in a team.
• Passionate about helping children shine.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric Occupational therapy to help children achieve milestones, independence and confidence in their play and self-help skills.
• Prepare for and conduct screenings for potential new clients and provide recommendations.
• Prepare for and conduct evaluations using appropriate assessments and share findings with parents and physicians.
• Create individualized treatment plans and goals with necessary diagnostic and development information.
• Provide 1:1 therapy services using client-specific intervention methods and document progress.
• Partner with parents/caregivers in plan of care and home care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to ensure aligned plan of care.
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and on time per insurance requirements.
