Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One year of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Michigan.
• Initial certification or eligibility for NBCOT certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients using standard occupational therapy procedures.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to improve motor, sensory, cognitive and interpersonal skills.
• Coordinate with attending physicians and the interdisciplinary team to set patient goals and ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise OT assistants, aides, students and volunteers as assigned.
