Job summary

Tucson Medical Center's Pediatric Therapy department is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our experienced, multidisciplinary team serving infants through young adults (0–21) in inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will provide family-centered, evidence-based care and collaborate with Speech and Physical Therapy colleagues to optimize outcomes.

Arizona OT license and BLS certification are required; 1 year pediatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Master’s degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Pediatric Therapy: 1 year of pediatric experience preferred; exceptional new graduates welcome.
• Current Arizona OT license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients in acute care hospital or outpatient settings.
• Develops individual treatment plans and goals based on evaluations.
• Coordinates with medical staff and other therapy disciplines.
• Supervises Occupational Therapy Assistants, aides and students as appropriate.
• Documents progress and communicates with care team.
