Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist for Waldo Hospital in Maine. The OT will provide prescribed skilled services to patients from birth to adolescence, developing individualized treatment plans and monitoring progress to maximize function and minimize disability.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA accredited Occupational Therapist program.
• Current applicable state license as an Occupational Therapist or compliant with state practice act; must have or obtain license within start date.
• Current BLS certification or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct prescribed skilled OT services using goal-directed activity to restore function.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with families, interdisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals to communicate functional outcomes.
