Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Georgia licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• NBOT certification.
• Minimum of one year of pediatric experience preferred; new grads with strong pediatric training considered.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong clinical reasoning, documentation skills, and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations using appropriate assessments and clinical observations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals aligned with each child’s developmental, medical, and educational needs.
• Provide direct therapy services in the outpatient setting, integrating sensory, motor, and ADL-focused interventions.
• Collaborate with a team of therapists, educators, nurses, and support staff to deliver coordinated care.
• Educate and support families in carryover of therapy strategies and adaptive techniques at home.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with Medicaid and insurance guidelines.
• Adapt treatment sessions to meet children’s needs using evidence-based, play-centered approaches.
• Supervise and mentor graduate students as needed.
