Job summary

Sumner School District is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist with pediatric experience to join a school-based program in Sumner, WA. You will provide therapy and rehabilitation services that empower students to participate more fully in classroom activities and develop functional independence.

You will collaborate with the IEP team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and use evidence-based interventions to support diverse student needs.

Qualifications

• Active state OT license
• OT experience within the past 5 years (minimum 6 months)
• Ability to support students in school-based tasks and environments

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to determine student functional needs and set developmentally appropriate goals
• Reassess progress regularly and adjust therapy plans to optimize outcomes
• Document evaluations, goals, and treatment plans in accordance with school standards
• Select and utilize materials and equipment safely to support therapy goals
• Perform responsibilities with professionalism and a student-centered mindset
