Job summary

Miriam Skydell and Associates, LLC, a pediatric therapy agency in New Jersey, seeks a licensed occupational therapist for an on-site position in Carteret.

The contract runs from end September 2026 through end April 2027, five days per week, seven hours per day (8:00 AM–3:00 PM), serving about 25–30 students ages 5–21 with multiple disabilities, including autism.

IEP meetings are required alongside direct therapy services; evaluations are not required. Rate is $90 per hour.

• Professional liability insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Attend IEP meetings in addition to direct therapy services.

Miriam Skydell and Associates, LLC is a pediatric therapy agency that provides contracted Occupational therapists, Speech therapists and Physical therapists to various schools in New Jersey. Miriam Skydell has been contracting therapist to schools for over 25 years. Miriam Skydell and Associates, LLC is a small personalized agency which values our therapists time. All our contracts are by the hour regardless of student presence, all positions are paid hourly as 1099.

We currently have an OT position available in Carteret, NJ

• Service Period: End of September 2026 through end of April 2027
• Schedule: 5 days per week, 7 hours per day
• School Hours: 8:00 AM-3:00 PM
• Student Population: Approximately 25-30 students, ages 5-21, with multiple disabilities. Approximately 60% of the student population is autistic, with other students having Down syndrome, learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, and ERI.
• Services: IEP meetings are required in addition to direct therapy services. Evaluations are not required.
• Rate: $90.00 per hour
