Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Deptford, NJ is seeking a Casual/PRN Occupational Therapist to support outpatient pediatric services. The OT will evaluate, treat and consult with patients birth to 21 years old, under physician prescription and hospital policies.

Coverage is as needed, with opportunities to mentor students and contribute to program development. The role requires a Master’s in OT, NJ OT license, and BLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• NJ license required upon hire; compact licensure acceptable for primary licensure.
• AHA BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with pediatric populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT evaluations, treatments, and consultations for patients birth to 21 years old.
• Maintain documentation per department policy, The Joint Commission, and CARF standards.
• Mentor OTA students, new staff, and volunteers; participate in clinical education.
• Engage in program development, community outreach, and interdepartmental collaboration.
