Nemours Children's Health in Deptford, NJ seeks an Occupational Therapist for PRN/casual coverage in our outpatient pediatric setting. Initial focus will be on core pediatric OT skills with opportunities to train in other areas as needed.

The OT evaluates, treats, and consults with pediatric patients birth to 21 years, working under physician prescriptions and hospital policies. NJ license and BLS within 6 months are required.

Qualificações

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited university is required.
• 3–6 months of experience recommended; new graduates considered based on education.
• NJ OT license required upon hire; compact licensure accepted for primary licensure if active in home state.
• BLS certification is required within 6 months of hire and maintained during employment.
• Professional organizations (AOTA, state OT assoc.) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide OT evaluation, treatment, and consultation for pediatric patients birth to 21 years.
• Demonstrate competency in pediatric OT per department competencies.
• Mentor and support OT students, new staff, and volunteers; participate in peer review.
• Stay current with trends and research in Occupational Therapy.
• Participate in program development, outreach, and community events to promote OT services.
• Collaborate with other departments and interdisciplinary teams.
• Complete timely documentation per departmental policy, Joint Commission, and CARF standards.
• Attend meetings related to patient treatment and contribute as a team member.
