Job summary

VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region is seeking a per diem Pediatric Occupational Therapist to serve clients in Franklin County through the Kids on the Move program. The OT will work in patients' homes or educational settings, performing assessments and developing treatment plans to enhance functional independence.

The role includes supervision of students and rehab staff, along with coordination with the care team and completing IEP-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Vermont State OT license required.
• Two years of clinical Occupational Therapy experience preferred.
• Background checks and driving record required; valid driver’s license and insured vehicle needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive OT assessments and develop plans of care to promote independence and safety.
• Provide school-based and home health OT services, including documentation and IEP participation.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other rehab staff; supervise students and assistants as needed.
• Complete insurance paperwork and ensure clinical notes and OASIS accuracy.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (preferred)
