Endeavor Health is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for per diem coverage in Lombard, IL. The role involves seeing pediatric patients in 1-on-1 care, assessing development, and creating patient-centered treatment plans based on goals.

Qualifications

• Pediatric Occupational Therapy experience is required.
• Current State of Illinois Occupational Therapist licensure is required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 pediatric OT services to assess developmental needs and create patient-centered plans of care.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to achieve functional goals and educate patients and families.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and adapt to new techniques and equipment.

Hourly Pay Range

$35.16 - $54.50 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Position: Occupational Therapist - Per Diem
• Flat Hourly Per Diem Rate: $51.00 per hour
• Location: 130 S Main Street, Lombard, IL
• Per Diem/As Needed
• Hours: As needed for afternoon shifts, Monday through Friday (after school hours). Flexible with hours.

What You Will Do

Occupational Therapist will see pediatric patients of all ages in 1-on-1 care to assess developmental needs, create patient-centered plans of care, and work closely with families to progress towards patients’ goals. Demonstrates an appropriate level of clinical skill, as evidenced by the completion of comprehensive and insightful evaluations, and the development of individualized and effective treatment plans designed to achieve precise, functional goals. Evaluates patients in the areas of upper extremity function, activities of daily living, generalized physical functioning, psychosocial skills and cognition/perception in order to develop and implement treatment plans and goals. Uses excellent communication skills to educate patients and engage them in their own care. Stays updated regarding developments, new techniques, and equipment in the field of occupational therapy. Maintains a well-rounded knowledge base, and clinical reasoning skills to consistently achieve expected clinical outcomes.
