Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited OT program (4-year) or MOT.
• Texas licensure or temporary licensure; final licensure within 6 months.
• NBCOT registration; final NBCOT certification within 6 months if temp licensure.
• 5 years experience including 1 year in disability/autism.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services in outpatient clinics.
• Collaborate with patients, families and clinic staff on care plans.
• Demonstrate leadership and adaptability in a dynamic clinic.
• Support orthopedic-focused rehabilitation and recovery goals.

Join our growing outpatient clinics in McKinney and Frisco, TX! Seeking an OT-R to be a part of the fastest-growing team in DFW!

MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS

Education

• Must be a graduate of an accredited four year Occupational Therapy school; OR, must be a graduate of an accredited two year Master's degree program in Occupational Therapy (MOT).

Experience

• Must have five (3) years of experience to include one year of experience in a specific physical disability and/or with patients on the autism spectrum.

Certification/Registration/Licensure

• Must have current licensure with the Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners for Texas, or have temporary licensure in Texas. Completion of Texas licensure is required within six months of receiving a temporary licensure.
• Must have current registration as an Occupational Therapist by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Completion of NBCOT is required within six months if being hired with a temporary licensure.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Must be able to be flexible and adaptable to frequent changes in the work environment.
• Must be able to demonstrate problem-solving ability.
• Must be able to demonstrate leadership ability.
• Must have familiarity with personal computers, word processor and spreadsheet software.
• Must have ability to lift 35 lbs
