Family of Kidz is seeking an Occupational Therapist to design and implement therapeutic interventions for children. The role requires documentation of evaluations, coordination with supervisors, and collaboration with families and school personnel.

The therapist will manage schedules, track progress on IFSP/IEP goals, and participate in CPSE/CSE meetings. Candidates should have NY OT licensure and a degree in Occupational Therapy; bilingual skills are a plus.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited university with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current New York State Occupational Therapy License.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement creative individual and group therapeutic interventions for children on caseload.
• Administer and document occupational therapy evaluations.
• Maintain communication with lead supervisors and coordinators regarding case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with families and school personnel.
• Collect data on IFSP/IEP goals and report progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend CPSE/CSE meetings and annual reviews.

Details about this opportunity:

• Location: Dutchess County, NY
• Status: Part-Time, Fee for Service or Full time Potential
• Compensation: $90/hour

Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
• Administer and write up occupational therapy evaluations.
• Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
• Create and maintain schedules with assigned individual families/school personnel.
• Collects data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
• Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
