Select Medical's KORT Physical Therapy in Louisville, KY is seeking a pediatric occupational therapist (OTR) to join our fun, collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.

We evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with sensory processing, developmental delay, autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, feeding issues, and related conditions, collaborating with physicians to help children reach their goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school for occupational therapy.
• Pediatric outpatient fieldwork level 2 if a current student.
• Pediatric outpatient experience in the last 2 years if practicing clinician.
• State occupational therapist license (or eligibility).
• CPR certification.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• High Standard of Care: Understand state Practice Act and adhere to the laws governing OT practice and supervision.
• Collaborative Approach: Develop objective patient goals and establish OT treatment frequency with the referring physician.
• Leadership: Supervise and delegate OT care within state and federal guidelines.
• Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs and complete documentation.
• Innovative Opportunities: Design and implement new programs with manager/referring physicians per HIPAA guidelines.
• Best Practices: Stay current with OT research and apply evidence-based practice.
