Select Medical's KORT Physical Therapy in Louisville, KY is seeking a pediatric occupational therapist (OTR) to join our fun, collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.

We evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with sensory processing, developmental delay, autism spectrum disorders, cerebral palsy, feeding issues, and related conditions, collaborating with physicians to help children reach their goals.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school for occupational therapy.
• Pediatric outpatient fieldwork level 2 if a current student.
• Pediatric outpatient experience in the last 2 years if practicing clinician.
• State occupational therapist license (or eligibility).
• CPR certification.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Location:13010 Eastgate Park Way #101, Louisville, KY 40223

Schedule:Monday-Friday (no weekends)

Compensation: Starting at $53,000 and up commensurate with experience

KORT Physical Therapy is seeking a pediatric occupational therapist (OTR) to join our fun, collaborative, multi-disciplinary team!

We evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from sensory processing, emotional regulation, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, feeding disorders, visual motor deficits and more.

Responsibilities

• High Standard of Care: Understand appropriate state Practice Act and adhere to the laws that govern how OTs may practice and whom they may supervise.
• Collaborative Approach: Develop objective patient goals and establish the type, frequency and duration of occupational therapy in collaboration with the referring physician.
• Leadership: Supervise and delegate occupational therapy care for each patient within the guidelines of state rules and federal regulations.
• Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs and complete patient care responsibilities and documentation requirements.
• Innovative Opportunities: Participate in the design and implementation of new programs or procedures with the approval of the manager and referring physicians per HIPPA guidelines.
• Best Practices: Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
