Job summary

THERAPY 2000 is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide home-based pediatric therapy across Texas. You will evaluate, plan treatment, and collaborate with families to help children reach their growth milestones in the comfort of their homes.

Ideal candidates hold an active Texas OT license, demonstrate reliability and flexibility, and are comfortable using standard workplace technology while coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current/active license to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas.
• Innovative spirit and reliability expected.
• Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as needed.
• Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop, phone, email, web browser).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Develop home exercise programs with patients’ caregivers.
• Collaborate and coordinate care between providers and disciplines; complete required weekly visits.
• Meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, call logs and paperwork.
• Engage with agency personnel to maintain understanding of expectations and standards for high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to agency policies, procedures, codes of ethics, and applicable laws for home-health pediatric OT.
