Job summary

MGA Healthcare Texas LLC is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to treat neuromuscular and developmental dysfunction in home healthcare settings across Texas. The OT will work with patients and families under MGA’s policies, delivering goal-directed activities to improve function and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities include developing and adjusting the care plan, coordinating with physicians, documenting progress weekly, and ensuring safe use of assistive devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited University.
• Successful completion of an internship under the direction of an OT.
• NBCOT/AOTA certification validation.
• State registration required.
• CPR certification per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate therapeutic, rehabilitative and functional status.
• Develop and manage the total plan of care with the OT team.
• Provide individual patient services and determine priority needs for therapy.
• Instruct patients and families in the use and care of therapeutic devices when applicable.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to implement the plan of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and update progress weekly.
