Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services in Staten Island, NY seeks an Occupational Therapist to support children birth–21 in homes, clinics and community settings. The role offers flexible scheduling and collaboration with a team of therapists.

Qualified candidates are NYS licensed OTs with 1–2 years of experience with young children; bilingual skills are a plus. Travel to assigned cases across NYC boroughs may be required.

Qualifications

• NYS Licensed Occupational Therapist.
• 1-2 years of experience with children birth–5 preferred.
• Must be passionate about working with children and families.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth–21 in natural settings.
• Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate involvement and carry-over.
• Work in diverse settings such as homes, daycare centers, preschools, clinics and other community settings.
• Follow the therapy plan and address goals while documenting progress.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain child records with HIPAA compliance.
