Job summary

ICAN Children's Therapy in Washington, DC is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to support children with autism, ADHD, and other developmental needs. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on motor skills, regulation, and daily independence.

The role offers flexible hours, full benefits, mentorship, CEUs, and opportunities to lead initiatives. You will document progress with SOAP notes, collaborate with speech and PTs, and engage families to empower the child in

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Washington State Occupational Therapy License.
• 1-3 years experience preferred, but open to new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, diagnosing, screening, and treating a variety of developmental disorders
• Collaborate with speech therapists, physical therapists, BCBA's, psychologists, and other team members to provide a whole child approach
• Modify the learning environment to suit patients' skill progressions
• Effectively provide parent and family education
• Engage in cultural responsiveness when treatment planning for culturally diverse population
